  Honestly devastated by how changed this pub is, it is no longer a pub it is a restaurant in disguise, those going for a drink are not welcomed as they say on the website, their stated selection of ales is only from one brewery and when all tables, even in the bar, are set with white tablecloths and swan napkins it's clear the wonderful country pub this used to be is lost. I even heard the ever unfriendly landlady state they don't want drinkers only diners. We can only hope they actually heed these reviews and return some of the once much loved charm of the chequers.
